Street Food Trip at Flavors Araneta Center

Mark and I were on our way to the Antipolo FX terminal in Cubao one weekend afternoon when we passed by the Araneta Center and saw a pile of tents with different kinds of food.

And so there, we found ourselves checking out the tents in no time. Mark must have missed our food a lot, that even if we just had a feast when he arrived, we again had another food trip the day after.

Among the many food choices, Mark opted for the "ihaw-ihaw" (grilled) street food.

Aside from the traditional Filipino dishes which is one of the reasons why tourists love our country, our street food definitely doesn't come far behind.

Mark had a couple of sticks of grilled liver and grilled hito, while I got grilled hotdog. :p

Oh I just can't help but watch him enjoy his food. :p Mark said that although they also have street food in Abu Dhabi which he already tried, nothing still beats the ones that we have here. \m/

There's actually a lot of food choices at Flavors Araneta Center, from street food such as isaw, chicken skin, kwek-kwek, and shawarma, to bar chow such as oysters and buffalo wings, to perennial favorites like pizza and pasta.

Flavors Araneta Center is open every Fridays to Sundays, from 5pm-3am, at the Gateway Park, near Smart Araneta Coliseum.
